The Dutch Hook is for the structural ridgeline and is made of titanium. This small hook keeps the ridgeline tight without tying. The Dutch Hook only weighs 0.4 grams. You attach the Dutch Hook by means of a knotted loop or by making a continuous loop on / in your dyneema ridgeline. You hook the Dutch Hook again when you have put the ridgeline around the tree. With a flyp or Wasp tarp on the other hand you complete the ridgeline.
